QQ are Vicente Vázquez and Usue Arrieta who produce and exhibit their collaborative work under this name since 2003. QQ has a wide spectrum of activity, from visual and media projects to interventions in public space and installations. Since we started collaborating in 2003 in Cuenca we have developed projects where the involvement with people, places and communities has been elementary. We have expressed a willingness to delve into social spaces where certain forms of state as well as certain ways of being in this world can be elucidated. In these years of collaboration we have carried out projects that revolve around the concepts of work, family and hobbies. We like the possibilities our work offers us in order to establish new relationships between the people and the world we inhabit. Normally the resulting projects make use of various technical formats, usually with an emphasis on the audiovisual aspect.
Together we have done projects of intervention in public spaces and video installations that have been presented in different contexts both in the Spain and abroad. We have also participated in some festivals around the world and given lectures and workshops in production centers and universities at a national and international level. All this makes us happy.
